YEDI team, led by the Executive Director, Tomisin Adeoye, met with the Netherland’s Ambassador for Youth, Jurriaan Middelhoff, the country’s Consul General to Nigeria, Mr. Michel L.H. Deelen, and other Embassy officials at the Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The meeting was organized to discuss area of mutual interests and partnership opportunities between YEDI and the Netherland, especially within the scope of implementing impactful interventions for Nigerian youths.
YEDI’s team, blazing from the over ten years of experience of the organization, gave a stimulating presentation to sensitize the attendees on its activities, motivations, and interests in engendering safe and health communities for youths across Nigeria.
On their parts, Netherland’s Youth Ambassador and Consul General expressed their appreciation and opportunities for collaboration with YEDI, because our organization’s activities and impacts align with Netherland’s interest in Nigeria. The Netherland officials also reiterated their interest in promoting adolescent health and youth empowerment in Nigeria through programs such as EkoBit and EdoBit.
