YEDI team, led by its Executive Director, Tomisin Adeoye, received a team from Focused Conservation, led by its Technical Advisor in Nigeria, Martin Young and an official of the US Consulate General, Craig Nixon, at our Head office in Lagos.

The roughly one-hour interactive session was headlined by the presentation of the football strips donated by Sunderland Association Football Club to YEDI, then a briefing of our guests about the work we do, especially the upcoming SKILLZ Holiday camp and other interventions to impact the lives of young people across Nigeria.

The session, anchored by YEDI’s Program Manager, Usen Asanga, provided further clarity to the visiting team on how our programs have been using football and other fun activities to create communities across Nigeria, where informed young people are empowered to reach their full potential and contribute constructively to social change in the society.
