As part of its efforts to accelerate the fight against malaria and create a more equitable world, YEDI held a media engagement at Eko 89.7 FM on World Malaria Day this year with Dr. Abimbola Osinowo, Director and State Malaria Elimination Program Manager at the Lagos State Ministry of Health, and Dr. Babatunde Odusolu, Partnership and Program Manager at Grassroot Soccer, as special guests.
During the roughly one-hour live session, these two experts effectively dissected the problems of malaria in Nigeria, prevention and access to proper treatment, and ways communities across the country can accelerate the fight against malaria for a more equitable world, with a special emphasis on the work YEDI and its partners, Grassroot Soccer, ExxonMobil, Common Goal and others, are doing to combat the scourge in their communities.
