Some description

Chief Patrick Olusegun Odegbami popularly known as “Mathematical”, is an ex-international footballer who captained the then ‘Green Eagles’ (now Super Eagles). During his career as a footballer, he had 46 caps and scored 23 goals for the National Team, and guided Nigeria to its first Continental Club Championship success in 1976 with Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan, and the first African Cup of Nations title at the 1980 Tournament in Nigeria.

As part of his contribution to youth and sports development, he established The International (Sports) Academy (TIA), Nigeria’s first and only multi-sports secondary school which is located in Wasimi Orile, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He is Nigeria’s 1-Goal ‘Education-For-All’ Ambassador and has been conferred with the National honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo was the Executive Director of Corona Schools’ Trust Council, which has several Primary and Secondary Schools. She led the council for over 8 years and retired in August 2010. She is presently running the Corona Secondary School, Agbara on a consultancy basis.

Mrs. Adefisayo has over 28 years working experience spanning banking operations, trade finance, organizational restructuring, human resource management, and training and treasury management. She has dedicated part of her life to social development and has served as a volunteer to many NGOs and social enterprises. She is a recipient of several academic excellence awards, notably from the University of Ibadan and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mrs. Olubukola George-Taylor (Karibi-Whyte) is the CEO and Founder of boutique Public Relations Firms, ‘The Bobby Taylor Company’ and ‘Invicta Africa’ Communications Limited. She studied African American History and Women’s Studies at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. She founded the Bobby Taylor Company in 2007 in Winnipeg Manitoba and eventually relocated to Nigeria two years later. Some of her clients include or have included; The Walt Disney Company, Estee Lauder, Calabar Jazz Festival, The Lagos Jazz Festival, The Ministry of Education Rivers State, Tom Ford, Clinique, M.A.C Cosmetics, Ciroc, Johnnie Walker, Elizabeth Arden, Flying Doctors Nigeria, and many more.

Bukky is a great public speaker and also known for her expertise in Reputation Management & Corporate/Personality Crisis Management.

Anuoluwa Ishola is passionate about development in Sub-Saharan Africa. She graduated ‘Magna Cum Laude’ from Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland, the USA. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from George Washington University, School of Public Health and Health Services, Washington DC. She has worked in various public health Institutes. Anu who joined YEDI in 2013 as Head of Programmes rose to become the Executive Director before proceeding to pursue a Doctoral degree at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Prior to YEDI, she worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Unveiling Africa Foundation. She was a Global Health Fellow in Mbale, Uganda and also worked with the Ghana Health Service in Sekondi, Ghana.

Charlotte Obidairo is a seasoned development expert with more than a decade of experience in planning, designing and implementing international development projects in general and as they relate to design and execution of effective advocacy and communication strategies and brokering impact-oriented public-private partnerships for development.

She has worked with major development agencies and donors in the field of HIV/AIDS including but not limited to Danida, USAID, CDC, DFID, GTZ, AusAID, World Bank, Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria, WHO, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNICEF, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Merck Foundation.

Mrs. Abolaji Osime is the CEO & Founder of Global International College, a Secondary & Sixth Form College with branches in Lagos and Abuja and representative offices in Ibadan and Port Harcourt.

She is also the Lead Consultant of Strategic Transformation Team Limited, a premier educational consultancy with a wide range of experience and expertise in public and private education sector reform. She consulted for DFID ESSPIN programme as the Lagos State Team Leader focusing on the following priorities MTSS/ESP, Quality Assurance, Private School Strategy, Teacher Training, EMIS, Communication & Knowledge Management, Budget Tracking, Monitoring Learning Achievement, and School Transformation.

Mrs. Abolaji Osime is also an independent consultant to the Federal Ministry of Education (Nigeria). She is a member of the Education Reform Team – an independent platform for education specialists committed to the transformation of Nigeria, through education.
